Convergence In The Park - Brought to you by Ozone Paragliders

This FREE series starts September 20th and runs every other Friday evening through the end of December. Times are subject to change due to day light savings time, and the occasional Saturday.

Every other Friday we will meet at a different park in Santa Barbara or Carpinteria and talk about paragliding! We will have different guest speakers each Friday who will cover a variety of topics. Everything from “How to have a long and fun flying career”, “Planning your own flying adventure”, “How to tackle flying a task”, to “How to thermal efficiently”

Our discussions will last about an hour and leave some time for Q&A. 

Guest speakers include Marty De Vietti,  Anneka Herndon, Evan Bouchier, Austin Cox among others.

At the end of the session we will forecast the upcoming weekend and extended week ahead and give pilots advice on which launches to use and when the ideal flying window is. 

By attending these sessions you’ll walk away with your own forecasting skills. 

This is a great program for any level of pilot, local or visiting. We highly encourage P2 and P3 participation and invite the experienced pilots to join in for the community fun.

We’ll be providing a BBQ set up, you’re welcome to bring some food to grill and we’ll have limited beverages available. Bring a chair or a blanket to sit in the grass.

Each Friday that you attend you will receive one entry to win an Ozone Solos or Solos Lite harness.

This is a FREE event! No matter what school you learned with, or if you’re a visiting pilot passing through.
