Angola
In June of 2027 we will be exploring Angola and Iona National Park. Our aim is to provide yet another one of the world's unique flying adventures and bring you into the heart of Africa's best kept secret.
The Vision
Traveling in 4x4 vehicles and supported by our mobile camp, we will explore Angola starting from Lubango. As we travel overland, we will not only be looking for new and exciting paragliding take offs, but one's that get you into the heart of the place.
After exploring the dunes that extend north from the Skeleton Coast, we will travel across the Great Escarpment into the Cafema and Tchamaline mountains.
Springbok Gazelle, Kudu, Ostrich, Oryx and the elusive Cheetah roam the land where Mucubal and Himba people still live. Some of the most culturally intact indigenous groups on the African continent.
The southwestern coast of Angola is home to Iona National Park, one of the most diverse ecosystems in Africa.
We will be exploring the mountains and the coast developing another incredible journey for our guests. We are proud to partner yet again with ROAM, who are our partners in Socotra.
As with any of our destinations, we work closely with authorities to insure that all rules, regulations and permits are in order before taking to the air or exploring a sensitive ecosystem.
