The Experience

The South African coast forms one of the most visually striking and diverse regions on Earth. The rugged mountains give way to rolling vineyards and pour into a dramatic coastline. From Cape Town to the Garden Route, this corner of South Africa blends natural beauty with refined culture and an adventure for all.

Culturally, this part of South Africa is deeply layered. Influences from indigenous heritage, colonial history, and modern African identity converge in a vibrant, evolving landscape. Local food, wine, and hospitality reflect this diversity, offering experiences that feel both grounded and uplifting.

Our paragliding tour focuses on the flying but allows you to fully immerse yourself in all that this stunning region has to offer. Our private chef ensures that you enjoy the local flavor of food throughout your journey. And our local partners stay on top of all things adventure, making sure that no day is wasted.

Reliable winds, varied terrain, and consistent conditions make it one of the premier flying destinations globally during December.

For those seeking a balance of comfort, beauty, and adventure, this journey offers a rare combination.

Accommodation and Meals

Accommodation on this tour is centered around private luxury villas, offering a premium level of comfort, space, and exclusivity. Each property is carefully selected for its design, setting, and privacy. Perched above the ocean and tucked into the mountains, or set along the coastline.

Each villa has expansive living areas, private terraces, pools, and uninterrupted views. The atmosphere is relaxed so you can get the most out of your vacation. Designed to feel like your own private retreat while maintaining the highest standard of hospitality.

A private chef is included throughout the tour, preparing daily meals tailored to the group. Menus highlight fresh, locally sourced ingredients and draw inspiration from the region, blending dining with a sense of place. From slow breakfasts overlooking the ocean to multi-course dinners after a full day of flying and exploring.

In The Air

This region experiences a dynamic blend of coastal and mountain-influenced weather. In Cape Town, conditions are often shaped by ocean winds and local terrain, while along the Garden Route the climate becomes slightly more temperate and settled as we move east.

Typical/average wind and weather patterns do not always predict conditions, and things can shift quickly from day to day depending on location.

You can expect generally moderate winds, often building through the afternoon, with periods of stronger wind.

This variability allows us to stay flexible—maximizing both flying opportunities and exploration across a wide range of activities.

Temperatures are typically warm and comfortable. Daytime highs generally range from 20–28°C (68–82°F), while mornings and evenings cool to around 12–18°C (54–64°F), creating ideal conditions for long summer days.
