For Chris Garcia, paragliding is the ultimate lens for discovery. With over two decades in the adventure travel industry, Chris has built a career on navigating high-consequence environments with precision.
This foundation in technical logistics and risk management led him to the heart of the Southern California flight community, where he spent years overseeing operations for one of the region’s premier flight schools.
At Convergence, Chris bridges the gap between the grit of international competition and the soul of boutique travel. He is a mentor dedicated to the spirit of the collective—a philosophy that prioritizes technical progression, safety before ego, and radical support for every pilot on takeoff and in the air.
Based in Santa Barbara with his wife Natalie and their daughter, Chris remains a dedicated pillar of the local flight scene while leading expeditions to the world’s most remote airspaces.
His mission is to empower pilots through the convergence of elite flight and deep cultural exploration, ensuring every guest returns with a sharper skill set and a broader perspective.
