Convergence and Cuba

 Cuba is a fascinating and complex country with a rich history and culture. Located in the Caribbean Sea, just south of the United States, Cuba is the largest island in the region and has a population of over 11 million people. 

The country has a socialist government and a mixed economy that is heavily influenced by the state. Cuba is known for its vibrant music and dance culture, its colorful colonial architecture,  its beautiful beaches, and now it will be known for its paragliding.

Our owner and founder, Chris Garcia, has extensive experience within Cuba. Not only is he a first generation Cuban American, he also developed the first sea kayaking tour for American travelers in 2015. Over the course of 3 years, Chris designed and tailored tours across the island.

Chris' experience on the island dealing directly with the government, the Cuban people and the dynamic environment of the Cuban tourist industry, has led the path to what now is the first Support For The Cuban People, Cuba Paragliding Tour.
